Our interactive unit studies are designed around thought provoking themes that encourage students to ask questions and analyze theories. This unit study is designed to be completed over six five-day weeks. This unit contains the text of The Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass along with pre-reading activities, graphic organizers, vocabulary studies, and self check exercises. The final project is a thematic writing assignment which enable students to synthesize what they have learned.
