Adventures of Scoot & Mr. Buttons

Adventures of Scoot & Mr. Buttons is a great book that teaches kids about responsibility, caring, and leaning on a friend or family member when facing difficulties. Scoot was sad because his dad died in a traffic accident. As a result, he and his mom had to move to a new city. When he arrived, he was sad and afraid.



One day, scoot saved a wounded cat from under his porch. Lovingly, Scoot's mom decided that he should care for the cat until someone came forward to claim him. This formed the beginning of a wonderful, long-lasting friendship between a boy and a cat.
