Beskrivelse
The Victorians may have attempted to show the world they were upright, strict and full of virtue but much of this thinking has been subverted by their erotic and pornographic writing. This erotic Victorian novel has no author attributed to it but is written in three volumes and begins in the West Indies at a slave plantation recounting the sexual awakening of Lady Harpur or Queenie as she prefers. As will be expected from such a setting it details sexual romping in a quite bewildering array of combinations both between classes, races and sexes. Despite our supposed modern tastes the book is quite shocking at times both in the number of acts and its explicitness. Indeed multiple partners is even quoted as cutting edge thinking in helping prevent unwanted pregnancies. Explicit and extraordinary in its detail of sexual misconduct, making it an erotic 'not to be missed' read.
