Adventures of a Young Preacher

Preachers and preaching have been portrayed as a rather useless occupation reserved for losers. This view is certainly not in keeping with actual experience. This series of short stories follows a young preacher in his daily work. The stories go behind the scenes to show how an inexperienced preacher’s daily activities impacted individuals and society for good. Preaching the gospel of Jesus may be one of the most exciting and beneficial jobs of all. (Remember, God had only one son and made Him a preacher.)

These stories cover the adventures (and sometimes misadventures) of a young man’s beginning efforts at preaching the gospel.   Some events are sad, some funny, but usually beneficial; all actually happened.   How much poorer would this small town have been if a young preacher had not come to it?   You will walk with him as he goes about his daily duties. (You may want to keep a box of tissues handy, for you may experience tears of joy, sorrow, happiness, and laughter.)   These short stories illustrate how important the preaching ministry is to any community.
