Beskrivelse
Ray and Ann Brown grew up in the city, but they felt there were adventures awaiting them in the country. Granny Carroll's tales of growing up on the family farm encourages them to build their dream house at the old homeplace. As their own journey unfolds, they learn that rural Georgia does offer adventures for the people and animals that live there. Befriending the rugged Husky helps them realize that animals are a large part of life in the country. In the days ahead, they learn how to take care of pets and farm animals. With domesticated and wild animals around, country living can be a little uncertain. Ray and Ann become actively involved in their community and the interesting people they meet offer even more adventures. Luke, a Marine, and his dog, Logan, come into their lives unexpectedly. He becomes their good friend and right-hand man on the farm and in their counstruction business. Lynn, an opera singer, moves back home to help her mom. She and Ann become acquainted as new teachers in the same small town middle school. Everyday living for Ray and Ann is full of their love for one another, enjoying family and friends, caring for the animals, mentoring the young folks, and remembering their family heritage.
