For over 40 years, hard work by now-elderly adoption activists motivated by injustices of their own losses, many of whom have already passed away, has laid the groundwork. The extent of the politics, people, and their commentary on sealed adoption issues cannot be contained in a single volume, but this "photo album" with chronological letters, published feature stories and op-eds, provides "snapshots" to supplement the documentary, "CHOSEN CHILDREN - People, Politics and America's Failed Foster Care and Adoption Industries," and "THE ADOPTION and DONOR CONCEPTION FACTBOOK" for America's next generation of sealed adoption reform activists and abolitionists. It is they who will truly open records nationwide and replace adoption as we have known it with better expressions of individualized child custody and accountability... because America CAN do better for it's (adopted and non-adopted) children and families.
