Addiction Reviews 3 features refereed reviews of topics of interest to specialists in addiction. Contributions that NIAAA and investigators interested in alcoholism have made to the field of addiction is the focus of this volume. Among the specific issues covered are: alcoholic liver disease exacerbated by malnutrition or infections; hippocampus, amygdala and stressand susceptibility to addiction; alcohol binge drinking; epigenetics of addiction; and the pharmacological enhancement of drug cue extinction learning.
