Addiction - Devastation - Recovery-is a true account of a young girl that stepped out of her fairytale world onto a path of destruction. Each chapter chronicles her life as she is transformed from innocence to monstrous and directly into the outstretched arms of heroin addiction and alcoholism. As each event occurs the reader will experience compassion, disappointment and disgust as Nancy consistently returns to the drug filled crime ridden streets. While her dependence worsens and days become darker, she becomes a repulsive thief and junkie wondering how it got this far. But, after all is said and done Nancy hopes to be remembered as the person she is today.
