When a desperate woman seeks his help after her husband disappears from their oceanfront home, he boldly jumps onto the case to put another set of his skills-investigation-to the test. Operating outside of police protocol, he enlists the help of a savvy player and is quickly propelled from sunny beaches and Miami shadows into a perilous sea quest and the dangerous shores of Cuba.
