ABC Identity

The Purpose A note to the parents The purpose of the book titled "ABC Identity" is to help pre-k through fifth grade children to identify the letter of the alphabets and build their foundation for developing the ability to read. The children will recognize and name the letters of the alphabets and in doing so the children reading development is dependent on their understanding of the alphabetic principle. The idea that letter and letter pattern represent the sound of spoken language. Learning that there are predictable relationship between sounds and letters allows the children to apply these relationships to both familiar and unfamiliar words, and to begin to read with fluency.
