The tumultuous year of 2019 in Dierne, a once thriving, English seaside community.

When a fishing boat and her crew disappear without trace, the lives of Dierne's inhabitants become intertwined in a provocative, intriguing story of life and death, love and hate, loyalty and betrayal.

Dierne's fishing industry has been wrecked by corrupt politicians. There are nightly seaborne invasions, which the authorities deny and ignore. Brexit hangs by a thread, as a treacherous Parliament attempts to betray the country's sovereignty. There is war between the defenders of England's heritage, and the self-loathing Woke.

And The Lady, a mysterious, brooding stone statue, slowly rises on the beach.

Local legend has it that The Lady shows herself in times of danger, ready to wreak vengeance on Dierne's enemies.

A storm is brewing in Dierne, and there is Hel to pay.
