"A WOMAN RESURRECTED"- is CeCe Cervantes' heartbreaking memoir of captivity, torture, daring police rescue and her ultimate redemption. Married at a young age, Cervantes suffered physical and psychological abuse from a manipulative husband, who raped her repeatedly. Living life for her four beautiful daughters kept her strong, but when her husband threw her out of their home, she feared she would never see them again. While trying to put her life back together, Cervantes was drugged, beaten and held captive in a garage and a house for four years by a Santer a sadist, a worshiper of the Santa Muerte cult. Her deep faith and trust in Jesus Christ, along with the never ending belief to see her children again, gave her the will to survive. After finally being rescued in 2006, Cervantes then spent almost two years in a physical and psychological hospital recovery program.
