Beskrivelse
At thirty years old, Kyle Waller is supposed to be in the prime of his life. He works a high-paying corporate job, lives in an expensive, high-rise apartment, and even drives a fast car. But despite all of this, he's wont to admit that he hasn't been happy for a very long time. Worse too that he has a weekend away with his family to not look forward. They have insisted on camping in the Blue-Mountains, about as far from civilization as they can get. It's literally Kyle's nightmare.
It's a strange day that sees Jeremiah not looking forward to a camping trip. Even more so when it's with his two best friends, organized months ago. But that's the case right now! And this time, it has everything to do with his two friends who are dating in secret but making it so darn obvious that a blind man can still see it. They insist on rubbing it in Jeremiah's face, but behind his back, ensuring that the weekend away is both intrusive and downright cringy.
The weekend gets off to a bad start for Kyle who somehow gets separated from his family, takes a tumble into a shallow ravine, sprains his ankle, and then becomes trapped. But luck still appears to be on his side when Jeremiah, fleeing his loved-up friends, comes to the rescue. A night spent together in the cold bonds the two strangers and soon enough, camping isn't looking so bad.
But all great things must come to an end. When the weekend finishes, the two once-strangers, now holiday-lovers will have to decide if they have what it takes to make it in the real world, of if their lives are just too different. Is this love that their feeling, or nothing more than a fling?
