The Book of Jonah could be summed up in this way: "Who cares God does " It shows God's love and compassion for all mankind. His will is that no one should perish, but everyone can come to Him through the saving grace of Jesus Christ. Everyone who truly believes in Jesus Christ as savior and Lord has the obligation and duty to tell others about salvation through Jesus Christ. God gave Jonah this charge, but he reluctantly went to Ninevah to do what God asked him to do, and the whole nation repented and God relented on His judgement of that nation. This book shows the power of one man's obedience. Imagine if all Christians obeyed God, what a great impact they can have on this world.
