A Turn of Events

It's been four weeks since Allen Crane, Donnie Peppitone, and Cam Owens burst through Benny Strong's door, with guns blazing, to rescue Jacob Palmer. Cam and his wife, Mildred, have moved on. Donnie is recovering from his injuries at the home of Mya Duffy, and Allen is just waking up from a weeks long coma.

In A Turn of Events, the second book in mystery writer, Allen Crane's series, Allen and his sidekick, Donnie, hear about a vehicle that's been torched and abandoned outside of town. The body of a young female, burned beyond recognition, has been discovered inside the vehicle. Allen and Donnie decide to give York Police Department's Sergeant Paul Rose some unwanted help, and set out to solve the mystery of the burned out car.
