Beskrivelse
If you are someone who has suffered the consequence(s) due to making bad decisions; for the wrong reasons and/or for the wrong people, you have found the right book. If you have ever chosen a person at least once in your lifetime; if someone whom you wholeheartedly believed would become your life partner has broken your heart or if the relationship you believed to be "ideal", whether work-related or otherwise but it turned out to be an epic failure, you are not alone! Sometimes, before we can recognize what making "good decisions" feels and looks like, some of us may experience making those "bad decisions" first, and that is okay. The moral of the story is to not allow any bad decision to define who you are ultimately going to become. Instead of focusing on where you have erred, you are encouraged through this book of poetry, to use it as a tool to help you learn from your experience(s), whether bad, good, ugly or indifferent. May this book of poetry help you to discover the essence of your true identity, mistakes made and all. Teresa Reese encourages you to use her experience(s) as fuel to help you uncover who you truly are, unapologetically. Throughout the pages of this book of poetry, you could potentially see your own reflection as the author, Teresa Reese, transparently shares a few of her life experiences. However, if you are a person who has ever experienced a broken heart, a broken relationship, betrayal from a close friend, the loss of a family member, the betrayal of a colleague and/or the loss of a loved one, check out this book of poetry. Whether figuratively or physically speaking, a loss is still a loss. There are times when we may need to be reminded that we are not alone or the only person who has ever experienced something similar. This is what this poetry book offers its readers! You are invited to take this journey with the author as she opens up her heart and explores some of the "why's" behind her emotions, feelings and heartfelt disappointment during a few unexplainable mishaps. All of this, while discovering the essence of who she truly is at the core of her existence, in the process. Resilience is a gift, most often overlooked. Prepare to take an unpredictable journey with Teresa Reese, the author, as she shares some of her most vulnerable moments throughout the course of her lifetime as transparently as she knows how, in hopes that her transparency will help someone forgive themselves for some of their bad choices while on their journey to healing those broken places and spaces, in their own lives. Her book, "A Strong-willed Mind - Time is Healing Me. Healing Scars Over Time through my poetry", awaits you! Let's grow!
