Beskrivelse
June Anderson has written this book from her personal experience of losing both of
her sons.
Her wish is to offer an alternative approach to explain death to children using Indigenous beliefs.
What the children are saying about A Star for Nevaeh.......
Aoife: (age 11) - "It's a well written story full of emotion. It explains death in a happy way, it's sad and happy at the same time. I really liked it."
Thira (age 10) - It was very sad Mummy but the ending was very nice. I think it means that Grandma Ms. is a star watching over us at night.
Freya (age 8) - I liked the pictures and I'm sad Nevaeh can't cuddle her uncle anymore but the star is nice.
