In the weeks leading up to Christmas, Willa and Oliver establish new holiday traditions, excited to celebrate their first holidays as a couple. It all feels like a dream come true until they decide to travel to Oliver's home town in Upstate New York. They knew there may be a few snags, but didn't anticipate how hard it would be to navigate tenuous friendships, disgruntled family members, and an ex-wife who gets invited to everything. Even though the odds seem stacked against them, they never give up fighting for their relationship, even when their own doubts creep in. But when Willa goes missing, Oliver's family witnesses how far he'll go to get her back.
