August is made for roaming the northwoods of Wisconsin or playing in one of its thousands of lakes, but not this year for Detective Edie Swift. Edie's August becomes one damn thing after anotjher: dumpster diving for evidence, city curfews, missing kids. Nothing else could go wrong for the unsung hero of Troutbeck...or so she thought.
