The end of the world came silently. The other twelve are all related to him or in his care. Chad Gray, a fourty-seven year old, is the second oldest of a very small group of survivors. Claudia, Chad's wife, did not survive, even though her mother and daughter did. This is one of the mysteries they are trying to understand.
