This little book recounts my experiences during my first 20 years in Vietnam. An experience that I reread with emotion. Development, reducing extreme poverty in Vietnam and Cambodia, is entirely possible when we trust the villagers and work hand in hand. The courage and smiles of these farmers are extraordinary. They are a source of happiness and encouragement for all those who wish for a better world.
