This is the second in a Heptalogy of tantalizing novels dealing with the plagues threatening a planet and its inhabitants in the continuing saga to find timely solutions to prevent the harms causing chaos to the global environment and how similar measures could preserve nature and the human existence on our own Planet Earth. In the process of research the more the co-authors delved into these subjects, the more they became convinced of the seriousness of the perils our planet faces due to the negative impacts attributed to human-induced events. The voluminous scientific data and research findings regarding the global warming and other environmental threats continue to mount as renowned experts warn of serious dangers our planet faces and lend credence to the worst yet to come if corrective measures are not taken in due time. And sadly enough their warnings of the dire consequences to public health and the quality of life continue to be ignored by those who can make a difference. Citizens around the world, regardless of color, creed, nationality or religion can still play a key role to try to reverse the course of further deterioration of our precious planet by actively curtailing those activities that harm the global environment and by actively voicing their concerns to the elected leaders and business executives to change the course of the status quo. We must not lose sight of the fact that the possible ensuing catastrophes in all regions of the world make no distinction between developed or undeveloped countries, between the haves and haves not, between the sick or the healthy or between religious and nonreligious beliefs. One only need to review the recent history of major floods, droughts, mudslides and catastrophic fires that took place in various regions of the planet causing devastating infrastructure and property damage running into the billions and the loss of many thousands of innocent lives. The authors hope readers around the world will find this second novel in a series of seven as tantalizing as they found it during the long and arduous hours of their research and writing.
