A Move to Murder is the first in the Bride's Bay Mysteries series, a collection of cosy crime books set in the fictitious seaside town of Bride's Bay. Beth Bryson enjoys a quiet, uneventful life in the small town. She has her job in the local primary school, her niece Nell and her little Scottie dog Charlie as well as her voluntary activities in the town and her close friends Gina and Carol. Beth has had a difficult past and wants nothing more than a peaceful, contented life. But two newcomers move to the town and both have an impact on Beth's life as well as the other residents of the town. A cloud of resentment and jealousy descends and builds until a tragic event causes fear and suspicion in the town. Were the newcomers the catalysts for the events or innocent victims?
