Beskrivelse
An old trunk in the attic filled with an odd assortment of objects; an old violin, a long black dress, a leather bound journal, a blue and white striped jacket with a yellow star and a box of photographs including one of a Nazi officer. That's what Waverly finds in an old trunk in the attic of the house where she had come to live, having recently been rescued by an elderly aunt from the foster care system. As Waverly reads the journal, written by Katerina, a young girl her own age who was in a concentration camp, she feels a connection to her and can identify with Katerina's suffering. How is the trunk and its contents tied to Waverly's aunt? What secrets are hidden away in the notes of the night music?
