A King David Kind of Girl: A Girl's Bible Study

With her own daughters in mind, author Katy Foster designed the study for girls to practice and learn to find their help from God and from the Bible on how to walk into Godly womanhood. Ideal for girls ages 8 to 13, ages when girls search for truth and acceptance while being pulled in several different directions. Focusing on the life of David from 1 Samuel, this study encourages and guides girls to seek God's own heart. Scripture is paralleled with life issues girls must face and understand, such as courage, love, and family. The study examines how King David dealt with honesty, loneliness, friends, sadness, and fear. Through personal devotions to homeschool Bible curriculum to group study, girls are guided to grasp salvation amidst stress and worry, and have grateful hearts, desiring to worship God.
