The most important book in the world is the Bible. The second most important book in the world is the hymnbook, your hymnbook. As we read and sing the verses of our hymns, we are to be reminded that the message of the song is the most important part. In Scripture, we are told to sing with the spirit and with understanding. I have found that to know the story behind the song really helps me to sing better and with a greater understanding and appreciation. The stories shared in this book will hopefully encourage you to sing with greater awareness and appreciation.
