The marriage was only supposed to last for a couple of months. After all, they were only going through with the wedding so that a friend could make a TV program about it. Rufus is gay, Hanna is not. He is a well-known English actor, she's an Australian widow. The realm of film and television is an alien world to Hanna. She finds it hard to understand the interest in whether their marriage is real or not, by the public and media. The day they arrive at Rufus' house in London, Hanna finds a body in the garden.
