Beskrivelse

Sunlight Sea Breeze tells her story about her life and her hippy parents. Her parents changed their names and left college and their wealthy parents' to pursue a real life. They found the real life in a rural community in North Carolina. Sea realizes that being raised on a farm in the rural North Carolina gave her the capacity to appreciate her parents and their ability to live off the land. She never lacked for anything of importance. Sea and her country, boy husband leave the farm community and move to Raleigh. They work hard and try to educate themselves to be better at their jobs. Like so many cities in the United States there are many traps that pull you in. After an unexpected tragedy, Sea returns home and cascades into a pleasant and satisfying life in the country. The only thing that she feels she lacks is her roots. She has been haunted by the fact that she does not know her grandparents. She is not willing to approach her parents about the need to find her roots since they have given her such a wonderful life. When Sea returns she also is faced with what she thinks is a fact; she will never fall in love again. With a gentle push Sea's dad sets her up with a local farmer. She resists her father's push towards the good-looking farmer and hunter. The friendship that ensues is sweet and sometimes funny. She decides what to do by observing her dog, August and her cat, Wednesday.
