Reserved theatre nerd, Heather Walsh, navigates high school life from the social fringes. The same place where she watched her family move about their busy lives without her. From the bottom of the totem pole, Heather understood her place in life. Maintain the impossibly high standards set by her perfect older brother. Stay quiet. Be what is expected. And never poison the well.

Three days after Heather Walsh turns fifteen, she finds herself in the wrong place at the wrong time after mistakenly putting her trust in a long-time acquaintance who delivers her to Tim. A brutal man who - through force and intimidation - exploits her.

Heather Walsh must decide between admitting the truth to her family and potentially facing rejection. Or, keep what happened to her a secret. When rumors begin to circulate the student body about her illicit behavior, her teachers take notice as her grades plummet and her behavior changes drastically.

Suspicion draws unwanted attention to Heather as she attempts to maintain a grip on reality.
