A Future for a Woman With a Past follows the life of Jane Jordan, who witnessed her father stab her mother to death at the tender age of 5. Understandably, she then went through sheer hell with mental trauma and nightmares.

Soon after this tragedy, Jane was temporarily placed at her paternal grandmother's house until she was removed and placed in foster care. During this time as God would have it, a beautiful angel stepped in and cared for her while in foster care. This angel worked diligently to reunite Jane with her maternal Aunt. The journey for Jane was only beginning as she had to adapt to her new living arrangement and learn to accept the love of her aunt.
