Lucien is the darkly enigmatic owner of DuPassé, an antiques shop with a bad reputation. He is handsome, impeccably dressed, and charming. But is there something else, behind his peculiar brown eyes, and his intriguing smile?



Golden haired Gabriel is young and naive, but beautifully warm and inviting. One day, he visits DuPassé, and a chance encounter with Lucien intrigues him. Something about Gabriel intrigues Lucien too, and he offers him a job.



Will Gabriel accept? And how will his protective grandmother, La Meme, feel about this, given DuPassé's reputation? People disappear from there after all, or so she says. Does La Meme know more about DuPassé than she lets on?
