Ilysia has long been a land of mysticism and magic. When the Dark Empresss swept across the land, expanding her rule from the kingdom of the Dark Fae to encompass of of Ilysia, opposition was swift from a coalition of the races which dwelled there. Together, they were able to save nearly half of the land from her evil clutches, although the unrest caused many to flee their homes in search of a place free from the Empress
