An Authentic Crime Thriller Written by a 30-year Federal AgentGifted ATF agent Sam Caviello receives anticipatory gut instincts during his investigations -- and in this case, he hunts a serial predator. On Caviello's travel to Boston for a raid briefing targeting a white supremacist, he nearly collides with a black BMW that stops for a hitchhiker on a fog-filled night. Caviello follows behind the BMW for only a few miles before the BMW exits into a rural Connecticut community.
Days later, while at a state police meeting, Caviello was surprised to see the hitchhiker's photo on a missing person's flyer. Suspecting foul play, Caviello was determined to unravel the circumstances of the hitchhiker's disappearance and initiated a covert inquiry outside his jurisdiction.
His initial inquiry identifies the BMW driver, who works in the Governor's Office and is the son of an unscrupulous influential businessman whose connections to the Governor and high-ranking legislators were well known. Unfortunately, as Caviello's discreet probe gathered evidence exposing the son's heinous crimes, it gets leaked to his father. With the help of political insiders, the father stops at nothing to subvert the agent's investigation and end his freedom and possibly his life.
