Jackal Buzzard lives on top of Table Mountain where the wind makes it nearly impossible for him to fly and gather food. One very hungry day, Jackal devises a plan to convince the animals on the mountain to dance with him, offering them a free ride on his bak to get away from the dusty wind. What quicker way to get a meal, so he thinks, not realizing that observanct Cousin Monkey has watched his every move.
