A Contradictory Desire

The past three years, Mackenzie has been dealing with an issue highly detrimental. It dimmed her spirit gradually, not certain she would be able to go back to how she truly was, who she truly is. Although, through the medications, one-on-one therapy sessions and a solid support system; she took the progressive road to recovery. But now, when the one thing she's been breaking free from-the one thing that made her-comes to "glamorize" her life yet again. Should she grab hold on, long enough to see what it may have in store; the effects possibly weighing heavily once more. What might happen when someone new comes along and causes Mackenzie to tap into the outgoing social being that she was once known to be. Her past speaks loudly to her present, and that which is to come.
