Beskrivelse
If parting is such sweet sorrow as Shakespeare wrote, then after reading this collection I can taste the bittersweet sorrow on my tongue, as it flaps to get a word out. 'Carpe Diem' may have become a cliche we all use casually every day, but here Wolf, the poet, brings it brilliantly- all back home.

These poems ask you to listen, because it's very important to listen. We learn that, in this collection of stories told in verse. We hear "all of the girls envied somebody else" and we remember those days when everyone else seemed to be doing better until finally we realize that by listening to ourselves and others we, too, can become the one we want to be. We, too, can reach the place where "My daughter and I spend a few days away, climbing rocks on a secluded state beach. We take turns telling stories. I listen. I learn things."
