A Christmas Rose and a Drink To Purity

This tale covers several very different time periods. ­ The story contains some real history within the part that came from my imagination. A terrible wrong must be put right. A smart, heartless queen must be destroyed. A man comes close to killing someone but does not do it. A girl in a bad situation is helped by a powerful symbol from the very distant past. Oh, and there is also a geisha in the story. Enjoy!
