As Dirk and Regina return, Dirk gets a desperate call from Niesha for help. Hack and he rush to the foster home to find the mother unconscious and Neishe in hiding. They send the mother to the hospital and Nieshe goes home with Dirk. Dirk finds life as a dad rewarding and considers keeping Neishie permanently, but will Regina allow it? He determines to find out if Carol doesn't wake up.While Dirk juggles time for Neishe and his new bride, a new case opens. At a concert a young man's lung was removed and he was left barely alive.
