A Brush With Road Steam

A capsule in time opens up, literally and pictorially, drawing the reader into the more gentle times of the 1960's,tothe reality of how it was for the engine men and operators of steam machinery on our roads and railways portraying the 'Men of Steam' throughout my journey in time and the thrill of the unknown. This initial 'Brush with Road Steam', caused the steam in my blood to become a larger part of my life, culminating in the ownership of one of these mighty machines.
