The political system of Islam is based on three fundamental principles, namely: Tauheed (unity of God more appropriate to call Allah, meaning he only true God), Risalat (Prophethood) and Khilafat. The knowledge of these three fundamental principles is a prerequisite of understanding and appreciationg different aspects of Islamic Polity. The Book is Volume 1 of three volumes series. The Book covers the historical events of advent of Islam and the establishment of Islamic polity by the prophet Muhammad (SAW) and consists of seventeen (17) chapters and covers the following topics and/or events: Introduction to Islamic Polity; Background and Life of Muhammad (SAW); Foundation of Islamic Polity; Defense Policy of Madinah State and the Prophet
