An independent woman who speaks her mind may be too much for the men of Pine Ridge, South Dakota.

Debbie Furness has a mind of her own and she's determined to use it. She wants to drive cattle but convincing her boss Alex to let her may prove futile. Never one to give up, Debbie takes matters into her own hands and decides to show Alex she can do anything the men can.

Pastor Darren Hunter is shocked to find a beautiful woman upset by the river. When Debbie shares that she lost her boss's cattle he offers to help her. Darren loves spending time with the beautiful and spirited woman and wants to continue to get to know her better, but danger is lurking.
