The purpose of writing this book is to express the true meaning of life and to patiently await the arrival of someone who is consistently expected to meet someday, with the hope that this hope will eventually transform into assurance. When inciting men's desire to discover the meaning of existence, Samuel Beckett draws on the universal issue of the human condition, as well as man's sadness at being helpless to find meaning in the present, to elicit their responses. For the most part, men try to find the meaning of life in their own personal pattern, which is usually centred on their daily routine. If a guy is unable to discover his own way while also fantasising about the meaningful life that he has been anticipating, he is said to be unable to find his own way.
