Ryan and Rita Hooper have just moved to the small town of Copper, Oregon. Rita has just taken a teaching position at the local elementary school and Ryan has transferred to the local US Forest Service office. It is the new town and new life that Ryan hopes will make Rita happy. But who and what awaits them has nothing to do with happiness and all too much to do with betrayal.
