100 preachers who say no one knows the timing for Christ's closing parables when end-times begin do not offset two or three of Christ's statements that point to 9-11. Numbers 9:10,11 is a provision in biblical law for Passover as a time of judgment, to be observed a month later if one has been out of the country on a long journey or had a death and contact with a dead body. These provisions are linked to Christ's closing parables, "as the days of Noah" when Noah had to bury Methuselah, whose name meant, at his death, the sending of waters. He died as a sign the Flood was coming. Lamech (son) had died earlier, Noah (grandson) buried Methuselah and the Flood came with Passover timing in the 2nd spring month as seen in 9-11 (Numbers 9:10,11)The next parable begins "THEN..." It means at the same time or as an immediate consequence and comparing Matt 24:40 with Luke 17:37 could mean martial law or FEMA camp, not good.It is understandable that a fictional series intended to make millions in book sales or movies would not be looking closely at Bible details and as a consequence, millions of people and thousands of preachers think we don't know, can't know, will never know what Christ plainly taught. The last parable in Matthew 24 is the evil servant who begins to smite his fellow servants (religious intolerance after a law respecting the establishment of religion as the pope's Laudato Si' could bring, par. 237 of online pdf) There's no timing for this parable, but Matt 25 begins..."Then" (same timing) it's like 10 virgins and this parable ends with another 9-11 clue. "Watch" is translated from gregoreo, meaning to be awake. It would be unfair for Christ to ask this if there were no clues for when, because we can't be awake every night, but Passover was the only night it was commanded, and that's how Christ used the word in the next chapter, Matt 26:38-41.Then He said, you don't know, but a better translation of the Greek eido, would be you don't understand, because the kingdom is like a man traveling to a far country. Matt 25:13,14. There's that provision in Numbers 9:10,11 again Christ's invisible return to execute judgment as God did in Exod 12:12, should convince honest Jews that He really was the Master who took the long journey to heaven and returns according to His law in Numbers 9:10,11.What we've covered does not tell what year, but that can be seen from half a dozen "when-then" signs in 2015. "The sun shall be darkened and the moon turned to blood before the day of the Lord." Joel 2:31. "Before" comes from the Hebrew word, paniym, which means face or facing. "The day of the Lord comes...when they shall say 'Peace and safety, ' sudden destruction comes," 1Thessalonians 5:2,3. The Iran Nuclear Treaty was 'Peace and safety' talk. So was the UN theme for 2017- "Together for Peace: Respect, Safety and Dignity for All." If the Bible is meaningful, "the day of the Lord" (end-time) is impending, but that's not enough. Early believers understood Christ's warning in Matt 24:15 and Mark 13:14 as the Roman army that came to Jerusalem in 66 AD, 3 1/2 years before Titus in 70 AD. Fleeing the city spared them the siege by Titus. In 2015, a military drill (HELM, Homeland Eradication of Local Militants) and the pope's visit to US Congress was also "standing where he ought not" (compare Mk 13:14 with Rev 17:5) so that the parallel of 3 1/2 years from 2015 points to this spring, 2019. As a 'heads up' sign, "when you see Jerusalem compassed with armies" (Lk 21:20; Zech 14:1,2) if this occurs at Passover, we should expect an unprecedented huge event at 2nd Passover, "as the days of Noah" when there was widespread destruction and loss of many lives. God won't do anything without revealing it. Amos 3:7, This means it's reveal. we need to study. The space given to explain is expiring. Please take time to understand the issues before a crisis hits, for then it will be too late. May God bless and guide your considerations...
