Before the Foundation, Before the Great Blood Wars, there was the Dead Age, an age where civilizations held themselves together with machines and strict doctrines, keeping the many crazed degenerates from outside their platinum walls. While the Death Machines prowl the wastelands and a savage man roams the earth as a bastion of madness manifested, the duty of the few civilized and decent - privileged folk - is to remain in their isolated fortresses and hold the past and future together with their strict society of adherence to tradition and rule of law. Yet there is more to this story than what lies at the surface, as history has not been kind for many, and neither will the future be any kinder still.
