About the Author
Dr. Letkeman is a retired general practitioner, having worked in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan for 44 years. He has celebrated 58 years of marriage to his wife, Myrna. They have three of their own children and took permanent custody of two girls who were ages eight and ten at the time. After two winters at a Bible College he studied medicine at the University of Saskatchewan where he graduated in 1969 with an MD degree with distinction.
He was active in his local church and served in various ways with the Mennonite Central Committee of Saskatchewan, the Evangelical Free Church, and the College of Physicians and Surgeons.
Following surgery for lung cancer in 2013, he began studying the questions Jesus asked in the four Gospels. In response to those questions, he describes how his experiences in life have prepared him for eternity.
From the Author
This book was motivated by love for my grandchildren. I wish to help them find a clear path through a world where Biblical values are ignored, and a naturalistic worldview is leading to mass confusion and a relativistic and absent morality. The questions of Jesus remain pertinent for us today and help us understand the big question, "Why am I here?" Our children are precious - they are not accidents. I want them to recognize where they come from - their origin; why they are here - their purpose and meaning; how they should live - morality; and God's plan for their eternity.
