This book supplements The Logic Book, by Merrie Bergmann, James Moor, and Jack Nelson. The Logic Book uses a Fitch-style natural deduction system. Such a system, while economical in terms of the number of rules, presents the beginning student with the challenge of learning how to "work backward" and keep track of the many scope lines. This supplement offers a unique method of teaching the new student how to complete derivations in SD.
