25 Truths About the Birth of Christ: An Advent Devotion

Christmas is full of traditions we all love. One tradition that I am particularly fond of, is the Advent Calendar. The ornament depicts a calendar of the entire month of December. For each day of the month there is a little door or tab to open. Behind each little door is a treat, usually piece of hard candy or chocolate. What a wonderful way for our children to enjoy the build-up of anticipation for that special day we call Christmas! Provided, that is, the children don't eat all twenty-five pieces by December 3rd!

This is the idea behind this devotional. Each December day has one great biblical truth to learn, to share to reflect upon. I hope this advent devotional is a blessing to the whole family. Merry Christmas.
