1982 will never really be about my working life with people who could often much more readily display affection than so-called normal folk; or the ever-present soundtrack of Come on Eileen by Dexys Midnight Runners; or the ridiculous Falklands War enthusiastically promoted by Maggie Thatcher (how silly it would be if Argentina controlled the Scilly Isles). It will always be about her.
