In 1982 Britain's international Situation was precarious, as tensions rose with Argentina over the disputed Falklands Islands. John is working on a cruise ship in the West Indies when he decides to abscond to the USA with another man's identity. He gets mixed up with mysterious Peter, a charismatic man who John suspects may be involved with Shadowy Argentinian forces. John agrees to work for Peter in his investigation business.
